A lot of you have requested I do a hijaab tutorial so here it is. This scarf is from Bay Trading. There is a similar one in River Island both Hight Street stores. This style was something I came up with recently since I have been on Youtube. You can vary it to make it cover more of the neck. I wear it in this way as my neck is very sensitive and I find some other styles (clip under neck) very uncomfortable.

This is an interview with the winner of the Danish Miss Headscarf 2008 fashion contest. It was arranged by the youth division of Danmarks Radio, the Danish Broadcast Corporation. The fashion contest was a reaction to the harsh Danish debate on the muslim headscarf. For a long time the muslim headscarf was debated only by politicians and opinion makers, but the young women wearing the headscarfs were seldom heard. The muslim headscarf was in the debate constantly called a symbol of opression towards women, and a right wing party in the parliament called on banning headscarfs on all public employers.
