Amongst the sensationalist allegations was that members of Hizb ut-Tahrir have been involved in 'street gang criminality'. These allegations are not only baseless but emanate from a politically motivated group, interested in defaming our public image. In response to the allegations HTB have prepared robust counter-arguments to the main claims made.

The documentary: * is for the first half largely about the hizb's growth in central Asia, the oppression of its members, the jailing of literally thousands of its members in Uzbekistan, Kyrgystan, Tajikistan (and thats in EACH country, not cumulatively.) * Features an interview with a member of the hizb recently released from jail. This bit is an absolute must see! He describes (as ive quoted below also) that there is "an army of us in the jails of uzbekistan" and speaks of the inevitability of the return of the Khilafah (given what he's seen of the Muslims' increasing attachment to it). * then goes on to discuss a case study of a brother jailed for apparently being with al qaeda and how his family heard and saw nothing of him for very long. * The legal corruption of the governments of all three nations, and how (may the curse of Allah be upon these disbelieving shayateen) they appoint stooge lawyers in the defence...
