Once I've got to grips with it I'll get version 4 but at the moment I'm still amazed at what 2.5 can do and I don't think I've even scratched the surface yet. I was sampling (using Audacity) single notes from youtube and time stretching them to turn them into longer notes and then experimenting with them in Reason - sometimes layering them and sometimes playing them as chords - and this sad tune came out. I think I'll have it played at my funeral - but not for a long time hopefully - I'm only 97. The notes I sampled were from a flute, harmonica and electric guitar and the last two, after time stretching, took on an attractive life of their own. All...
