HD quality movie capturing by Logitech quickcam Pro for Notebooks. There is no widescreen for this webcam. Since youtube doesn't recognize the resolution of this HD resolution (960x720) so it is still in "Watch in High Quality" not "Watch in HD". Eventhough 960x720 is HD resolution, it is just ratio aspect. In other words, this webcam capture HD quality in 4:3 not in 16:9 (widescreen) aspect ratio. For people who dont know how to see movie in high quality on youtube, please click on "Watch in high quality" in blue text under this video at the right corner to see how high the quality of this clip is. Note: Not every clip on youtube has HD quality since people on youtube have uploaded movies in normal quality too. There are some HD webcams recently selling on the market but this one is the best one I think. Note: uploading HD movie to youtube is a pain. It is a waste of your time. Some has to wait 5 to 12 hours to upload just a short clip. I recommend use High Quality uploading...

A few months ago, Logitech announced their new quickcam Vision Pro which is specifically designed for OS X. Many of us were skeptical, since Logitech already had the exact same device for Windows, at a cost of $30 less. What gives?

Now that youtube has gone HD on us I decided to test out my Logitech quickcam Pro 9000 and see how well the 960x720 HD works. --- Well it did not work. No button under the video saying "Watch in HD" and I have the black bands on each side. It looks like the Pro 9000 will not let you use it to do HD movies for youtube.

This was taken on the 24th July 2007, on my 130N Telescope using the Logitech Quickcam Pro 4000 Web Cam which I think is just as good as the Philips SPC900 even though there are more settings for the SPC900
