Originally issued in Canada 1977 and/or 1980 on the LP "Out Of The Woods" on Freedom FR-010. Reissued 1985 as the B-side of Capitol 72975. David Wilcox was born in Montreal in 1949, and took up the guitar at age six, inspired by Elvis. After playing in numerous groups through his teens, David replaced Amos Garrett in Ian Sylvia Tyson's group, The Great Speckled Bird, on his 21st birthday. He stayed with them, appearing on their CTV network show and making two albums over three years, then struck out on his own, with a group called The Teddybears. They didn't last very long before Wilcox went solo, and spent several years playing bars and developing his unique blues-rock style. His first album, "Out Of The Woods," is variously reported as having been issued in 1977 and 1980, on the independent Freedom label. When Wilcox was signed to Capitol in Canada in 1982, they acquired the rights to the album and reissued it in 1983. The same year, David released "My Eyes Keep Me In Trouble,"...
